The official online portal of the Ras Al Khaimah government provides various real estate services to residents, allowing them to complete transactions and obtain official documents electronically without visiting government offices.

One of the key online services is rental contract registration and certification. Landlords, tenants, or their representatives can submit applications anytime, from anywhere. They can also track and modify their applications if needed and receive the required certificates electronically or collect original copies from the Customer Happiness Center.

Additionally, the system allows for the registration of sales and purchase contracts for all types of residential, investment, and commercial properties.     • Property ownership deed or previous rental contract (if applicable)

  • After completing the form, click “Submit Application.”
  • You will be redirected to the online payment page to pay the required fees.
  • Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation message via email or phone.

6. Receive the Electronic Contract

  • Once the request is approved, the electronic rental contract will be issued.
  • You can download it from the website or receive it via email.

The rental contract can now be used for official transactions, such as utility service registration or other legal procedures.

Real Estate Registration Fees in Ras Al Khaimah
The registration process includes fees applicable to individuals and companies as follows:

  • Warehouses and storage facilities: Exempt from fees.
  • Agricultural land: 0.18% of the property value (calculated per square foot and paid by the buyer)

Fees for registering a rental contract in other cases:

  • 2% of the property value paid by the buyer
  • 2% of the property value paid by the seller

If the registration is processed through the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, the fees are:

  • Grant: AED 1,000
  • Loan: AED 500
  • 2% of the property value difference paid by the buyer
  • 2% paid by the seller
